We are now looking for a VP - Head of Technical Sales to help bridge technical excellence with commercial success, delivering solutions that support Cadeler’s ambitious projects.
What will you do?
You will lead the technical strategy behind our WTG and FOU tenders, shaping innovative solutions that win projects. As VP - Head of Technical Sales, you’ll guide a skilled team, collaborate across functions, and ensure Cadeler stays ahead in a competitive market.
Your main tasks include:
- Lead and inspire the Technical Sales team, ensuring timely and high-quality input for WTG and FOU tenders.
- Shape and drive technical tender strategies in close collaboration with commercial teams to deliver competitive, client-focused solutions.
- Oversee preparation of technical documentation, risk analyses, and project schedules, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Act as the bridge between technical, commercial, and contractual aspects, aligning stakeholders to create well-rounded tender packages.
- Foster innovation by improving tools, templates, and methodologies to strengthen future submissions.
- Mentor and guide team members while building strong relationships across Cadeler’s functions.
- Represent Cadeler externally at industry conferences and events, supporting business development and market growth.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping Cadeler’s success in the rapidly growing offshore wind market.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader who combines technical expertise with strong commercial insight and enjoys leading complex projects. You set clear team goals, drive collaboration, coach and motivate your team, and ensure high-quality results, all while supporting professional growth and delivering excellence in technical and commercial outcomes.
We think you will be a good match if you:
- Have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related technical field, with 10+ years of experience in technical sales or engineering in the Wind or Offshore sector.
- Have led teams and driven WTG and FOU tenders, with strong knowledge of offshore projects (jack-up vessel experience is a plus).
- Are skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools, with a structured, detail-oriented, and innovative mindset.
- Have excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
- Thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and enjoy working in an international, multicultural environment.
