Senior Financial Accountant – Offshore Wind Industry

What will you do?
As our new Senior Financial Accountant, you will own the end-to-end accounting activities for one or more legal entities, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
Your main tasks include:
- Perform monthly closings: prepare and post journals, review trial balance, and ensure timely reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and compliant ledgers, aligned with IFRS and internal control standards
- Support internal and external reporting by preparing audit documentation, and local statutory filings
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements to tools and recurring processes within assigned areas
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions (e.g. Procurement, Operations) to ensure smooth flow of financial data and provide support and training to junior staff, without direct managerial responsibilities

Someone who performs tasks to a high standard and have strong attention to detail – even in a fast-paced evolving environment. Furthermore, the profile possesses excellent communication skills and has an ability to train and supervise other junior colleagues in the team as well as willing to take an active part in shaping standard practices.
We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:
- Degree in Accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) or something similar such as Finance or Business Administration.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit roles, ideally within an international or multi-entity organization.
- Demonstrated experience with IFRS and month-end reporting. Experience with SOX is an advantage.
- Experience in Oracle Financials Cloud, Sertica, or similar is an advantage.
